What Would you do for a Klondike Bar? A fun new board game!

Since we bought our retirement home a little over a year ago, we have enjoyed having friends over to take the boat out on the lake, barbecue and spend long evenings playing board games. We used to get together with friends all the time to have game night, but over the past few years it just didn’t seem to happen anymore…until now!

I have always thought board games were a blast, and I love putting away the electronics and getting back to basics with good old board games! Sure, we are all familiar with the classic board games, but there are some really fun new ones out too, that definitely shouldn’t be overlooked.

One such game is What Would You do for a Klondike Bar ($24.99)! I was sent this game for review, and let me tell you, we have been having so much fun with it! It isn’t like a typical game, where you all sit around and answer questions, this one gets you active, and doing things you might not have dreamed you would do! Every question and challenge is completely different, so the game definitely doesn’t get boring.

As I mentioned above, each question/task is different.  Sometimes you will write your answers on the included white boards, and sometimes you will act something out. Whatever you end up doing, it will more than likely cause fits of laughter.

With the question below, I had to come up with three bands that have two-word names.  Since I consider myself somewhat of a music expert, this was both easy and fun.

Another option on this card was to sing a song while demonstrating your best air guitar skills. Oh my.  Thank goodness I didn’t have to do that, but it would have been hilarious, that’s for sure!

The rules are very simple.  The dice that come with the game will determine what your challenges/questions are. The goal of the game is to collect all six flavor cards (sidenote – these little cardboard bars look good enough to eat, and leave me craving chocolate). Maybe it would be a good idea to have a few of the real bars to munch on while playing!

We thoroughly enjoyed game night with out friends, and they enjoyed it just as much.  Our cheeks were hurting as the night was drawing to an end, as we laughed harder than we had in a LONG time.  This is the perfect party game, and a must-have for every game collection.

This would also be a great idea for a holiday gift!
