Bonjour! My husband’s family is from Quebec so French is spoken rather frequently when we’re visiting their home in the US. Grandma gets a kick out of singing French songs to the babies and they always giggle but wouldn’t it be so grand if they understood what she was singing? Grandma thought so too and the whole family is always telling us how badly they want our kids to learn French. How could we teach our young kids how to learn French in a way that they could both understand and enjoy? KLOO sent me just the game we needed!
KLOO is a language game for ages 7 and up, which has won nine major game awards. It helps educate the players on how to make grammatically correct sentences in the language of choice, but in a fun way!
My girls were so excited to try it out! Obviously I bent the rules a little bit for my little ones but my husband and I played it too. Once we understood how to play, we had a great time! The kids (who are still learning English so it’s no wonder they aren’t quite old enough for KLOO‘s foreign languages yet!) watched us and really got the hang of it. The older two even learned several French words and loved to practice saying them!
It’s so important for kids today to grow up knowing multiple languages. KLOO is a fantastic way to get children interested in learning and it’s a faster way to learn. Now when Grandma tells the kids how cute they are in her most familiar language, they can learn to pick it up and reply. Children traveling abroad with their families can speak the local language and feel proud of themselves for it! The KLOO Language Board Game is a huge necessity for kids today and certainly worth looking into!
