When I received Kraft Milk Bite Bars for review, I figured they would be fairly similar to other granola type products on the market. What I didn’t realize is that they are quite different! They are actually refrigerated, which is definitely different!
I received the cutest package which included this adorable pouch, and inside were two boxes of Kraft Milk Bite bars – one Chocolate and one Strawberry.
I was curious to see what was so different about these bars, and I quickly found out. While I was eating a chocolate Milk Bite bar, I read the back of the box and discovered that each bar has the same amount of calcium as an 8 oz. glass of milk (30% of the daily recommended value). I was SO happy to read this, as I am aging (yes, it’s sad but true) and I worry about the health of my bones, and if I am getting as much calcium I need on a daily basis. I can eat one Kraft Milk Bite bar and know that I am part way there for the day!
Let’s talk flavor. These taste so rich (and you can definitely taste the yummy milk – it tastes like cream!). Kraft MILKBITE Bars are made with real milk, whole grain granola, as well as other nutritious ingredients including fruit or roasted nuts. Each bar includes 5 grams of protein, 7 grams of whole grains and fiber (yep – something else our bodies need), and only 140 calories. And I am happy to report that these bars contain no high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives!
These are the perfect on-the-go snacks, and I feel good sending them to school with my daughter. I have been enjoying them so much that I have taken one with me to jury duty selection each day. It’s actually the high point of my day while sitting in a boring courtroom 🙂
Kraft Milk Bite Bars can be found in the refrigerated dairy aisle of your store, and are available in the following flavors: Chocolate, Strawberry, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Raisin and Mixed Berry. I am so excited to try the other flavors. Retail price per box is about $3.49 per box.

I have 3 boxes left in Fridge. Will eat them for lunch until gone. Hopefully the Walmart and Kroger stores will have a complete supply when I need them. They are GREAT. I am a retired old lady, age 80. GREAT for my age.

Holy Cow! Milkbites are fabulous. They are the only snack bar I buy now. Add a handful of walnuts and you have a decadent treat. So yumny; plus now you get the calcium AND Omega 3. The CHOCOLATE bar tastes exactly like premium chocolate milk. The PEANUT BUTTER has the same flavor as an old fashioned PB cookie (I can almost see the fork marks on top). I am so terrified Kraft will discontinue these snack bars before the public catches on. Come on people, BUY SOME!!!

I will always buy the milk bites but not the other kraft milk bar because I am doing weight watchers and milk bites are 3 points and the milk bars are 5 points or more. My favorite is oatmeal raisin.
My favorite is chocolate! I’m glad the Milk Bites are only 3 points. I just adore them 🙂
My daughter loves them and now I can’t find them in either my local A&P or Shoprite. Any good ideas?
