It is COLD here in California! We have all been bundling up to keep warm, and we all have our special blankets that we are protective of. Every since I was a little girl, I have loved the feeling of soft, “slick” blankets. I remember I used to rub the satin edge of my blanket against my face when I was falling asleep.
Lands’ End so kindly sent me a Puffer Throw blanket (from the “From the Home” holiday shop) to review, and I have to say that I am in love. Deep love. It contains Pureloft fill (which is the same kind of filling they use in many of their comforters!). This type of fill is provides great insulation and it is so warm and cozy. The shell of the blanket is quilted, so the filling does not move around. Although I had planned on giving this to my daughter for Christmas, I must admit that I have claimed it as my own, and my family knows this. No touching my blanket! I will be ordering another one for my daughter though, as she loves this as much as I do.
The Puffer Throw from Lands’ End comes with a cute little drawstring travel bag. Since I travel on the train frequently (to our retirement home), this will be perfect to take along with me if I want to catch a nap. Not only will I enjoy this on the train, but I will also have my favorite blanket with me to snuggle up with at the other house. I anticipate cold evenings, a roaring fire, a good book and my Lands’ End Puffer Throw. I chose the Rich Red Plaid, but it is also available in several other color combinations. THIS is definitely a holiday gift that will make people happy – even the most particular folks on your list!
In addition to the Puffer Throw, Lands’ End has several holiday shops to choose from to make your shopping just a little bit easier this year. The online holiday gift shops feature a wonderful collection of gifts, categorized by price and theme, and for every budget. You can find something for everyone on your list, all from the comfort of your home. The Lands’ End online shops are:
- Gifts under $30
- Gifts under $50
- Holiday Surprises
- Personalized Gifts
- Dream Shop
- Luxe Gifts
- Gifts for Good Kids
- Santa’s Faves
- Titletown Collection
To find these collections, click “gifts” on the Lands’ End home page and it will lead you to “Our Gift Shops”, where you can shop from all of the collections listed above.
Of course, if you would like to let them pick their own gift, a Lands’ End Gift Card is always an option. I know I would be thrilled to receive one for the holidays!
There are some special deals going on at Lands’ End currently, such as free shipping on $50 orders, and 30% off other items. It’s a great time to shop at Lands’ End!
*I received the above product, free of charge, to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

I like that that they have a breakdown on the site to help with shopping. That is a super nice throw and I always bring along a blanket too. I get so cold when traveling!

PPpfffshhht….. Jen, it is TEN degrees here now. It is NOT cold in California. LOL! We could use 6 of these throws. We fight over the old ones we have. Lands End is AWESOME !. In what they offer and the company itself. I have friends that work there. I lived just 10 miles from their main plant. They take care of their employees and that quality of concern is as great as Quality of product!
