L’Bri Skincare Review & Skincare Trio Giveaway

L'Bri-skin-care-products

When I was contacted by a friend of mine about reviewing L’BRI skin care products that her friend sells (confused yet?), I was really excited. My friend raved about these products and loved the way they made her skin feel – I just knew I had to try them too! In the process, I also made a new friend!

Tricia Warner is an Independent Consultant for L’Bri Pure ‘N Natural products, and she so kindly let me review several products that she thought I would most enjoy. She sent me items from the Natural Anti-Aging Aloe Based Skin Care Program:

Gentle Cleanser
Gentle Freshener
Gentle Moisturizer
Smooth ‘N Firm Eye Repair Gel
Rejuvenating Facial Peel
Dermaplex A Serum

Since I am getting older (sad but true – it happens to the best of us), I am diligent with my daily skin care routine. I want to use the best products available, and I want to look as good as possible. The health of my skin is extremely important to me as well.

I was first impressed by the philosophy behind L’Bri. See this list below? Yep – that is what made me really want to try these products for myself. What isn’t NATURAL, isn’t in ‘L’Bri Pure ‘N Natural:

No waxes or petrolatum that clogs pores
No mineral oil that can attract dirt and cause blemishes
No drying alcohols or harsh detergents that dehydrate the skin
No glycols that cause skin to lose it’s contour
No synthetic fragrances
No artificial coloring dyes

Aloe is the number one ingredient in all L’Bri products. It is a natural anti-inflmmatory and a natural exfoliator that penetrates the outer skin surface taking its healing power deep inside the skin tissue to the cellular level to stimulate cell revitalization. It is very helpful to those that suffer from, acne, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.

I like the idea of the skin healing from the inside.  I am sure there is damage there that I don’t even know about, and I really do feel like L’Bri will continue to help my skin, and keep me looking my best, even as I continue to creep up in age.

While many products today claim to be “natural” you will often find that there are more chemicals in the product than vitamins, herbs, or botanicals. In addition, most of the natural ingredients that are found are usually at the end of the ingredient list, which often means that the amount contained in the product is minimal.

I have been using L’Bri skin care products for several weeks now, and oh how I love them!  When the assortment of products arrived, I was eager to start using them right away.  The Rejuvenating Facial Peel is pretty spectacular – it is the best feeling after I use it.  My skin kind of tingles and just feels amazingly clean.  It is always something I look forward to.  It can be used two or three times a week.  After the application has been on my skin for a few seconds, I rub it in and watch all of the dead skin just go away.  This is a good thing 🙂

The Gentle Cleanser, Freshener and Moisturizer are wonderful products too.  I am not a fan of harsh chemicals on my skin, but I do like effective products. Sometimes with ‘safe’ products, the desired results aren’t the same.  This is certainly not the case here.   I use my fingertips to apply the Gentle Cleanser, but you could also use a sponge if desired.  The really neat thing about this cleanser is there isn’t any foam!  That surprised me at first, but I actually really love that.  It definitely is gentle.  After I have cleansed my skin, I use a cotton ball to apply the Gentle Freshener.   Could my skin feel any more amazing?  Uh, yes actually – thanks to the Gentle Moisturizer.  It is the perfect finishing touch for my clean skin.  The only problem is I have to keep reminding myself to stop touching my face after this routine.  It is hard to resist 🙂

The L’Bri Smooth n Firm Eye Repair Gel is a much-needed product for me.  Though I don’t have too many wrinkles on my face (yet), I do have the crow’s feet lines under my eyes. Oh and the occasional bag or two.   After I finish cleaning and moisturizing my face, I dab a little bit under each eye.  I have noticed the reduction of my tiny “eye wrinkles” and puffiness under my eyes.  The eye repair gel works by restoring elasticity and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and puffiness around the eyes.  Love it!

The Dermaplex A Serum is used after the L’Bri Freshener – and can be used twice daily.  That isn’t a problem for me – it is another product I love and look forward to using each day.

Though I don’t have too many problems with acne, L’Bri skin care products can be helpful to those who suffer from acne, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea (according to their website). I have no doubt about this, after I have seen such an improvement in my skin tone and health. After using L’Bri products consistently for several weeks, I can say with honestly (and pride) that I am hooked. This is a good kind of hooked though, because I know I am doing my skin a big favor. AND I just might be the hottest 70 year old around some day!

You can purchase L’Bri products from Tricia’s website, and you can also order free samples from the home page (and just pay shipping of $6.75).   Tricia is such a nice person, and she would be happy to answer any question you might have.
