I love cooking chicken. Chicken is so versatile and there are just so many recipes out there. I have my fair share of chicken recipes, and some have quickly become family favorites. The Asian Crusted Chicken Breasts I make often is one recipe that my family really loves. I had my own favorite chicken dish that was a favorite when I was a child too. My mom used to make amazing fried chicken in her deep fryer, along with homemade fries! I decided to create a new family fave, with chicken and lemons, and I came up with my Lemony-Lemon Fried Chicken recipe!

It’s a good thing I wrote the recipe as I made it, as it has been requested by my family several times since! Nothing is worse than making an incredible meal on the fly but not remembering how you made it the next time you want to try it again. So yay me for actually writing this one down!

This chicken dinner is a winner

One of my favorite things to do is create my own recipes. They are either hit or miss (almost always they are a hit). I don’t like to brag, but I have to say that I hit it out of the ballpark with the Lemony-Lemon Fried Chicken recipe. I don’t think that’s bragging, I’m just really proud. There is something incredibly satisfying when I have put together flavors that work well together, and then to have people rave about it. When they talk about my recipe creation again and again, that is extra satisfying. If my family loves and requests a certain dish time and time again, then I know it is definitely a winner.

An alternative to pan frying

If you want to forego the “frying” part of this recipe, you could try making it with air fried chicken! I think it would work just fine. I might even give that a shot sometime – Air Fried Lemon Chicken – I like the sound of that!
