Last night we watched the premier episode of MasterChef Junior on FOX. It was so good! My seven year old was absolutely enthralled and it’s even inspired her to get a little creative in the kitchen – although it will be under my supervision! We cannot wait to watch more of MasterChef Junior New Season – read on to see why!

MasterChef Junior New Season

MasterChef Junior gives the best junior home cooks in America the chance to showcase their culinary abilities and passion for food through a series of delicious challenges. Each episode, host and award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay is joined by restaurateur Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot on the MasterChef Junior judging panel.

Along with watching the Season 3 premier, we found it the perfect way to stay warm and cozy creating our own MCJ hot cocoa with their warm winter kit they sent!

Paige made a deliciously decadent Hazelnut Milk Chocolate with marshmallows and crushed peppermint. She reasoned with the fact that she love, love, loves Nutella and she was right. My girl cozied up on the couch and cheered on the MasterChef Junior contestants.

I loved seeing the encouragement and positive attitudes on MasterChef Junior. It was so refreshing and very good for my child to see. Will you tune in next week?

  1. My son! He insists on helping prepare every meal. My other two are only interested when I’m baking 😉

  2. I do! My son loves to help cook! We found out about a cooking camp for this summer and I asked him if he wanted to go and he didn’t even let me get the whole question out before saying yes!

  3. My granddaughter might be a MasterChef Junior in the making. She loves to cook alongside my daughter and already decorates cakes like a pro.

  4. No little ones here but both of us LOVE to cook.I am my happiest when my fiance’ is creating something new!

  5. Hi! I don’t know if my grandson will be interested in cooking/baking. He just turned two and loves musical instruments. Although, I love this show! I like it even more than the adult version. Thank-you for this super fun chance!!

  6. My sons both like helping me bake (they’re 5 & 7). We made “cake mix cookies” & brownies together for the holidays. They were so proud when they came out of the oven & actually tasted good!

  7. Yes my son loves to cook. One day i woke up to him trying to give me breakfast in bed, He made eggs and did not bother to flip the eggs so they were cooked on one side and raw on the top. So I explained that I did not want him cooking breakfast unless I was up. LOL

  8. My 8 yr old granddaughter, Abbey, loves to help cook and bake and has some creative ideas too! She could be a master chief junior!

  9. I think we do have a master chef in the making. My son loves to help me in the kitchen, especially when I bake.

  10. My daughter loves to bake. She can make several things from scratch. My son is only 7, but I’ve started teaching him some things.

  11. My kids are grown, so no Jr Master Chef. However, my son, who could only make ramen noodles when he was a teenager, now does a lot of cooking. He’s a late bloomer LOL

  12. Both of my kids like to cook. I have had them cooking with me since they were little. I think all kids should learn how to cook.

  13. My grandson is a little young to know if he’s a Master Chef Junior in the making, but he does enjoy his play kitchen.

  14. My son who is still at home is not into cooking at all, but my grandbebe boy JoJo is always in the kitchen with me when he visits – he wants to know how and why and “will adding more of this make it better, Gigi?” 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win!

  15. No, but I would have been one when I was a kid. I took over the family cooking duties pretty young because both of my parents worked.

  16. My oldest son only wants to do the easy cooking-Put chicken nuggets or pizza in the oven. My youngest son always wants to watch me cook or bake and know how its done so I think he will be the chef.

  17. My daughter LOVES to cook. She took a Jr Chefs class a few years ago and went until she became “Master Chef”. Now that she is a teen though, she hasn’t cooked or cared to cook in a while but I am hoping this show might re-inspire her.
