Mixaroma Essential Massage and Skincare Oils

I love essential oils for my skin. A really good and organic oil is a must though. Mixaroma Essential Oils have quickly become my favorite, thanks to the collection that was sent to me for review. Side note here: I want to try one of the Mixaroma gift baskets some day!

Mixaroma Cacao organic body oils are perfect for individuals who wish to indulge themselves with real organic chocolate and essential oils for the purpose of body nourishment and moisturizing.

I received Cacao Lavender, Cacao Mint, Cacao Citrus and Cacao Geranium massage oils from Mixaroma. Now, I have to admit that I was slightly confused. I was unsure how lavender and chocolate, or citrus and chocolate would smell.  I was pleasantly surprised that the main scents were very subtle, as was the chocolate.  The combined scents made for a very unique experience.

How did the Mixaroma essential oils feel on my skin? Pretty darned good!  They can be used for skincare or for massages.  Needless to say, my husband was delighted that I tested them on him for the massage part.  Nothing is worse than feeling really “oily” when a skincare oil is used – but that wasn’t a problem with Mixaroma.  They blend into the skin beautifully, leaving a healthy, and hydrated feeling…naturally.

Although I loved and use all of the oils, I do have a favorite –   Cacao Lavender.  I find Lavender to be extremely relaxing, so it is probably a given that it is my favorite.

Over 98% percent of the ingredients in Mixaroma oils are sourced from Certified Organic suppliers. Some of the essential oils falling in the other 2% are from Certified Organic natural growth and some are from wild growth.

 

I found their website to be fascinating.  They have a huge selection of oils, aside from those I received.  On their site, I especially liked the breakdown of the different types of oils that are used in their aromatherapy blends and massage oils. Different oils serve different purposes. I had no idea that coriander helps with aches and arthritis, or that Lemongrass is helpful for acne, athlete’s foot, and anxiety.  Lime essential oil is beneficial for brittle nails, bronchitis and much more. Interesting!

For the oils I received, the larger (8 oz.) bottles retail for $24.95, and the small (1 oz.) bottles are $5.97 each and can be purchased from the Mixaroma website. Of course, you can buy a set of 1 oz. bottles, like I received, for only $19.97. If you divide them up, they can be stocking stuffers for four different people. Neat idea, right?

  61. I think I would love any of the Bar Soaps! I am curious what the Organic Woodspice Soap Bar smells like- it sounds fantastic! I’s love to give the Organic Aloe Baby Soap Bar a try, too. It is just amazing that they take a month to craft the soap!!
