I know how expensive eyeglasses can be, so I wanted to make sure that you are aware of a couple different online eyewear shops that can save you tons of money each year you refill your prescription. These two online eyewear shops have worked well for me, and provide top quality customer service as well. I keep ordering year after year because its cheaper and very user-friendly. My two favorites are listed below, hope you give them a try!
Eye Buy Direct
Eye Buy Direct has a ton more options than most places. You can search for days and days trying to narrow it down to your favorite pair. In fact, most people I know end up ordering more than one pair of glasses because they run fantastic sales! It says they have 2-day delivery, blue light lenses, Ray Bans, and transitional, etc. They are worth checking out if you are new to online shopping for eyewear.
Warby Parker
I would say the customer service of Warby Parker far outweighs any other online shop that I have used to date. In fact, just recently I contacted them via email and they responded in a matter of hours. Most companies it takes days! They service reps are super friendly and helpful and always resolve any issues I may have. Their process for ordering is also very simple. You load your Doctor prescription (from any Doctor you go too), you can try on frames virtually or you can order 5 frames to be delivered to your house to try on and pick your pair that way.
In summary, I recommend shopping around for online eyewear. You will find some amazing options and a lot of discounts based on your budget for the year. Most work with insurance companies, but some are out of pocket expenses. Make sure you read the fine print before purchasing!
The ordering process was smooth, and quick. Even with all the delays during a world-wide pandemic. I got my glasses in a week. Quicker than going in person to my local Doctor. They also have a flat rate for their frames and lenses for $95.00 total, that’s it! Unless you need or want to add blue light filters (which I recommend, love mine!). Such an affordable price, its hard to pass up.
