Rest Easy, Peacefully, and Comfortably with Novosbed! – Review

You know, they say that you never really get a good night’s sleep once you have kids. I’ve got four of them and I can honestly say that I’ve had maybe a handful of well-rested nights in the past almost seven years. With kids, you’ve got somebody getting up to tell you that they need a glass of water and then complaining of a bad dream, there’s no time for deep sleep. I think your mattress is so important for really getting a comfortable rest every night. Until I received Novosbed for my review, I was sleeping on a ball of fluff with springs sticking into my back, or so it seems that when I look back in comparison!

Novosbed is a memory foam mattress company which ships mattresses for free anywhere in the United States and a lot of their great mattresses are selling for under $1,000. They offer the longest sleep trial, where you get to try out your mattress for 120 nights to be sure that it’s just right for you. There’s also a 25-year warranty on Novosbed mattresses!

To tell the whole truth and possibly even convert others like myself, my husband and I weren’t sure that we liked memory foam. Actually, we were certain that we hated it. We dog-sat for my mom one year and ended up sleeping on the couch because her memory foam mattress, which cost her thousands, was just not right for us. I was so excited when I got the chance to review Novosbed, but I was nervous. I chose the Harmony mattress because it was a little more on the soft side and I thought that maybe gel memory foam would be different. The Harmony was sold out at the time, so I received the Aria mattress, Novosbed‘s most popular style.

Our Novosbed Aria mattress arrived in such a small box for a mattress, I was so sure I must have received the wrong size. How could they make a queen-sized mattress fit into this tiny box?! It was quite a spectacle, my kids and I standing around watching this mattress gradually unfold and pop up into its normal size. It takes several hours for the mattress to get to its intended size but the initial unraveling is really cool.

Finally, the time came to lay on our new Novosbed mattress. We were reluctant, we didn’t know what to expect. The first night passed and we still weren’t pleased. I posed the question to my friends, asking how they feel about memory foam mattresses and many people said that they take a few days to break in and others swore by them. I had one friend who said that memory foam really helps her chronic pain and she assured me that it was worth another try. That next night, I woke up feeling refreshed. I turned to my husband and said, “Is it just me, or did it feel so much better tonight?” He agreed. By the fourth night, I felt like our Novosbed mattress was amazing and I’m really glad that I gave it a fair chance. I’m getting such a comfortable rest and looking for any reason just to lay in bed!

Our Aria mattress is so soft to the touch at the top, I kind of hate putting sheets on it. I just love the feel of the material. The memory foam is softer now that we’ve given it a few days under us. I can absolutely see the benefit of the 120 night trial because if you’re somebody like me, you need a few days to give this mattress a chance before you just go writing it off! If you have a short trial, you’re going to feel pressed for time and make snap-decisions that, trust me, you’d regret!

If you love memory foam, this Novosbed Aria mattress is a GREAT price and compared to what I’ve slept on, so much better quality than the ones you’ll pay an arm and a leg for. If you don’t think you love memory foam, like I didn’t, then this is the perfect mattress to change your mind! Don’t waste your time and money breaking the bank on something you’ll hate, go for the less expensive mattress with a long trial and amazing warranty! As I type this, I’m actually waiting for someone to pick up my old mattress from my home. Goodbye, old mattress, you’ve been replaced! We’re sold, Novosbed is cozy and comes highly recommended by this blogger! Not only that, but Top Mattress reviewed Novosbed and rated it incredibly high as well.
