Parental Guidance in movie theaters Christmas Day!
I hate to admit it, but I haven’t been to the movie theaters in a long, long time. Lack of time is one reason, but I have a hard time finding movies that I really like. Sometimes though, when I see a trailer for a new movie, I can tell that it is the perfect movie for me (and one that will hold my attention).
There is one holiday movie that I am SOOO excited about right now – Parental Guidance!
Old school grandfather Artie (Billy Crystal), who is accustomed to calling the shots, meets his match when he and his eager-to-please wife Diane (Bette Midler) agree to babysit their three grandkids when their type-A helicopter parents (Marisa Tomei, Tom Everett Scott) go away for work. But when 21st century problems collide with Artie and Diane’s old school methods of tough rules, lots of love and old-fashioned games, it’s learning to bend – and not holding your ground – that binds a family together.
Parental Guidance looks like it is exactly the type of movie I like! Just during the trailer alone, I burst out laughing several times. With a cast including Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, and Marissa Tomei (some of my favorites), how can it not be an outstanding movie? Here is the Parental Guidance movie trailer!
