For years I have been hearing about Pureology, and how amazing it is. I have wanted to try it for the longest time, but was never able to find it where I shopped. I was extremely excited when I was able to review a few Pureology products and I am eager to tell you all about my experience with them.

I have thought highly of many hair care products in the past, but I honestly have never RAVED {like shout it from a mountain type of rave!} about shampoos and other hair products like I want to about Pureology. You see, I have very fine hair. Very. I have tried so many products that promise fuller hair, but they honestly haven’t worked that well. Or my hair might look a little thicker for a few hours after shampooing, but then it went flat again.

I received for review Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Hydrate Condition, as well as Pureology HydraWhip Souffle. I was pleased that not only would the shampoo and conditioner potentially make my hair fuller, but they are both for use on color treated hair. Due to my age *cough*, I unfortunately have quite a few grey hairs. I have to have my hair colored, but it is rather expensive. I love that my hair will be protected and make the color last longer while using Pureology.
I couldn’t wait to try my new hair products. The first thing I noticed about Pureology Hydrate Shampoo is that I only needed a little bit to achieve a rich, full lather. I actually used a little too much the first time. Pureology products are concentrated so “a dab will do ya”…literally! That’s the beauty of a zero waste shampoo. I left the shampoo in for a couple of minutes, then rinsed. I was super anxious to try the HydraWhip and applied it next. It comes with a comb, so after applying product (again just a little is needed), I combed through my hair and left it on for 2-4 minutes, per the instructions. After I was finished showering, and rinsed out the souffle, I dried my hair as usual. What I wasn’t expecting was how incredibly thick my hair was. It had NEVER felt like this before. I have long hair, and seeing all of it full and just gorgeous made me one happy girl. I felt like I was wearing somebody else’s head of hair. And that feeling lasted all day long.
I alternate daily between the Pureology Hydrate Conditioner and the HydraWhip, and both make my hair feel and look amazing. I can honestly say that I am a Pureology customer for life. I don’t mind paying a little extra for products that make me so happy, and actually they will last a long time, since they are concentrated. There are so many things to love about Pureology. Their products are cruelty-free {which is important to me}, they contain 100% pure vegan ingredients. Oh, and they smell really good too 🙂
