Sam’s Club Black Friday Open House Weekend – look what I found!

First of all, I want to say that I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Ours was relatively low-key this year – my husband, daughter and I had our own little celebration. We made traditional Thanksgiving goodies and snuggled in for a day of movies and awesome quality time.

I have to admit that I didn’t brave the crowds for Black Friday, but I did take advantage of Black Friday Deals on Saturday, during Sam’s Club Black Friday Open House Weekend! I was invited* to shop at my local Sam’s Club to see what deals I could find on tech items. No problem – I am the girl for the job! Since my son and hubby are also “techies”, it was the perfect chance to get some holiday shopping out of the way, and take advantage of AMAZING deals at Sam’s Club!

I enlisted the help of my daughter, and we headed to Sam’s Club this morning. We had quite a few items we wanted to check out, and it helped to know that we would be able to afford several, thanks to Sam’s Club everyday low prices and because we were shopping during the Sam’s Club Black Friday Open House weekend.

Here are some of the fantastic deals and products we saw:

They had excellent prices on printers and monitors (as you can see in the photos above). The beauty below…made me drool.  How I would love to buy this for my husband. A 70″ smart TV?  He just might think I am the best wife in the world if I got this for him.

There were so many great gift ideas throughout the store, and I thought I would share some of these with you (in case you need a little inspiration).

 

We also had fun looking at all of the holiday decorations, including gift wrapping & supplies and lots and lots of gift baskets. I behaved and didn’t purchase any wrapping paper (funny story about this – I have a slight obsession with Christmas wrapping paper, and when my husband and I spot wrapping paper at a store, he has to herd me away from it).

DRUMROLL PLEASE!  Are you ready to see why I opted out of traditional Black Friday shopping, and went to Sam’s Club Black Friday Open House weekend instead? Well I am excited to show you! Here are a few of the items we bought at the Sam’s Club Black Friday Open House (oh my goodness, did we have fun!):

I saw the multipacks of iTunes gift cards online yesterday, and I knew I would be purchasing one of them today.  The one I purchased was 4 – $25 iTunes gift cards (normally priced at $100), and I snagged them for only $79.47. That is a huge savings of $21.53!

Next up – an Apple TV!  I cannot tell you how long I have been waiting to own this.  Our television isn’t a smart TV, so this addition is a must.  I set it up immediately when we got home (super easy – I even did it by myself!) and we are having a blast with it already!  This is an early Christmas gift for the whole family, and I see many family movie nights in our future.  The price for this at Sam’s Club was $92.87.

One other item I have been dying to have is the Neat Desk Plus.  I have heard so many good things about this product, and how it keeps you organized, and without extra paperwork.  It is a little on the expensive side, but at Sam’s Club the price was very reasonable for $369.  I don’t mind spending money for something like this, that we will use for years to come, and hopefully simplify our lives just a bit. I had a bit of trouble setting this up though, and I called Sam’s Club tech support for a little help. The fellow I spoke with was friendly and very helpful and I was up and running in no time, and now I am scanning like crazy! I LOVE that they have tech support available 24/7. Although I can usually figure out how to work most “tech” items, there are a few that I get frustrated with and need someone to walk me through.

We also bought my daughter a big squishy winter jacket (my husband and I bought ours a couple of weeks ago), socks, pajamas, a 2015 journal and I found the most amazing oversized throw blanket (available in several gorgeous colors), for $14.98. My kitty has already decided that it is his blanket though. I beg to differ…but I might share.

 

It doesn’t matter who you are shopping for, you will easily find gifts for everyone on your list at Sam’s Club.  My daughter and I will be going back next weekend, as there are so many more things we want to get.  Their selection is amazing, and their prices are always low. I saw several laptops and flat-screened TVs that were very inexpensive.

Sam’s Club Black Friday Open House weekend continues through tomorrow (Sunday, November 30th), and it is open to the public. You can also take advantage of some of the savings online, if going out isn’t appealing to you (although you really DO need to see all they have in-store!). Don’t forget that
