How would you remodel your bathroom?

July 31, 2017 by Jennifer 3 Comments

This post was created in part thanks to Decoraport, all words and suggestions are my own.

I remember years ago (when we owned our first home), we decided to update our two upstairs bathrooms. This may not have been such a good idea, as it took FOREVER to get it finished and it was quite costly. We were also assigned the chore of going out and choosing our vanities, sinks, faucets, and of course toilets. We didn’t want cheap-o stuff, as we wanted to redo the restrooms the right way, with good quality products. It would be so disappointing to have something malfunction (because of us not buying quality products) after we just got the bathrooms done! Unfortunately at the time, we didn’t know about Decoraport and their Siphonic One Piece Toilet. This is something we definitely would have considered in our remodel.

It really was quite a project, going from store to store to try to find items that match the designs we envisioned for our bathrooms. Naturally, many of the vanities that we saw either wouldn’t fit in the space that we had, or they weren’t our style, etc. There are so many choices these days, including free-standing vanities.

Then it was time to choose a toilet. Woo-hoo! Not really that exciting, so we chose standard toilets for both bathrooms. I mean a toilet is a toilet, right? Not so much! In fact, a company that I recently discovered – Decoraport – carries just about anything you could imagine for home updates, and at very reasonable prices.

I love that they have a liquidation section – that could save a bundle of money! For instance, take a look at this rectangle ceramic above counter basin. I love its simplicity, and I definitely love the liquidation price – only $56.61 (previous price was $80.87).

If I had known about these way back when, when we were redoing our bathroom, I think I would have chosen one. Why you might ask? Well for starters, it is nice and quiet. I feel good not disturbing anyone with a noisy flush while they are sleeping. I love that is efficient with its flushing too!

The One-piece Toilets at Decoraport range in price from $200~$400.
There really is no place better than home, you might as well live it up and have fun with your remodel.

In addition to bathroom items, Decoraport has all kinds of other products, including home decor! They have beautiful oil paintings for $10.49, for example.

We remodeled our kitchen shortly after we moved into our new home, and it really is gorgeous. Except for the light fixture that has deer and chickens on it. It’s just not my style, and I have been keeping an eye out for pendant lights for over my kitchen island. I have been looking a long time, but actually just discovered several I like at Decoraport! Most of them are right around $50, which is so much more inexpensive than I have seen anywhere else.

Another item that I am smitten with at Decoraport is their Floor Folding Sofa Recliner. I have never seen anything like these before, but what a great idea.

Whether you are looking for a Siphonic One Piece Toilet, other bathroom fixtures, home decor, etc., Decoraport is definitely the place you want to check out first. If you enjoy home decor and/or doing DIY projects to liven up your home, make sure check out my post DIY Fireplace Makeover!

I just put in a new toilet and sink. The sink is a pedestal sink and it is amazing how just adding new things to the bathroom make it look new!

My bathrooms could definitely use a facelift, but I think I would remodel my kitchen first!
