Light Up Your Life Without a Plug – SnapPower SnapRays Guidelights

I’m afraid of the dark. Yeah, I said it. I’m a grown woman with four kids and the dark freaks me out. I think it’s my bad eyesight because whenever I’m in the dark, I swear I see things. Maybe I just watch too many scary movies! The bottom line is that I can’t blame my kids when they request a little light when they go to bed at night. This house we bought has a big downside though. Not many outlets! So if we plug in a night light, we don’t have a lot of space to plug in other things. If we take out the night light, we lose it. That’s just how it goes! That is…until SnapPower!

The SnapRays Guidelight is an energy efficient outlet cover with LED lights as the nightlight. It turns on on its own when there is no light visible. Being an outlet cover instead of an actual nightlight means that you still get to use your outlets for other things! SnapPower’s SnapRays Guidelight is so easy and quick to install and it’s extremely affordable. I paid fifteen dollars for a nightlight in one of the kids’ rooms, which takes up space, uses up more energy, can get lost, and probably won’t live very long. That’s the same price as a single SnapRays Guidelight, or more if you buy a whole pack while they’re on sale right now!

In the past, we’ve found that giving the kids too much light causes them to get up and play in the middle of the night. SnapPower’s SnapRays Guidelight gives just enough light for a proper nightlight and not overly illuminating the entire room like some of the ones we’ve had. I love the look enough to use it in the kitchen, living room, dining room, or hallways. It’s great that I still have the both parts of the outlet to use and I think it looks really pretty, actually. I could see myself buying these for every house I live in and installing them immediately after the fresh paint dries, that is house essential I think SnapPower is.

  1. These are perfect , the nightlights I have for my son put off too much light and they often blow out . I can’t wait to try these thanks for the review !!

  2. These would be great for me and my kids. I don’t like stumbling into the dark hall to the kitchen. I think these would give just the right amount of light.

  3. I would use them in the hallway and in the bathroom. Very cool product. I haven’t seen this before. Great find.

  4. I’d put it in my bedroom for when I have to charge my Kindle and my husband is already asleep. won’t have to turn on the light

  5. I would put them in the hallways, of course! The bathroom. And the kids’ rooms. Well, in the kids’ room who still wants a night light. One of them just told me yesterday- I don’t like my night light anymore, it’s too bright at night! LOL She’s growing up.
