Sonic Drive-In food and drinks are pretty much summertime staples in my house. We go at least once a week for a sweet treat – slushes, iced teas, cherry colas, and of course ice cream! And when I don’t feel like cooking, Sonic meals are always delicious and a big hit with my girls.
Even though summer is ending, that does not mean that our trips to Sonic have to end too. Sonic has just introduced some new “fall comfort foods” to its menu.
The
Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich is made with a 100% all-white meat chicken breast (either crispy or grilled), and topped with a pub-style cheddar cheese sauce, sliced white cheddar cheese, caramelized onion sauce, lettuce, and tomato, all on a ciabatta bun. I enjoyed it all around – the chicken was nice and crispy, the cheese sauce was tasty, and I even liked the taste of the caramelized onion sauce even though I don’t like onions.
If you don’t like chicken, you can get a
Cheesy Pub Burger instead (with all the same toppings as the Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich, on a hamburger bun). Pair either with a side of Sonic’s tater tots, French fries, or onion rings for a delicious meal!

Waffle Cone Sundaes, in either Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups & Chocolate, Snickers Bar & Caramel, or M&M’s Candies & Strawberry (all with a cherry on top!). Or, as with most Sonic items, you can customize your Waffle Cone Sundae to fit your tastes!
