Sonic Drive-In French Toaster Breakfast Sandwich Review

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Unfortunately for people like me, I have too much going on in the mornings to actually prepare and sit down for a decent breakfast, and usually end up just grabbing something that I can eat when I get to work.  Even on the weekends, I don’t have the energy to make a big breakfast.

Luckily, Sonic Drive-In is now offering new French Toaster Breakfast Sandwiches.  I enjoy Sonic Drive-In’s other toaster sandwiches, and was excited to try these new sandwiches, especially since they offer a new option for breakfast.

The French Toaster Breakfast Sandwiches come with scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and either a sausage patty or bacon, all between two pieces of French toast.  I, of course, had to try both the sausage and bacon, and it is really difficult to say which one I enjoyed more!  I usually prefer sausage, but the bacon was nice and crispy and delicious as well.  I am always leery of eating eggs from a fast-food restaurant, but the eggs on these sandwiches were light and fluffy.  And the French toast was great – it added some sweetness to complement the saltiness of the sausage or bacon (plus, you can’t go wrong with French toast!).  Add in the melted cheese, and you have one delicious breakfast sandwich.  I have to admit that I intended to share with my husband, but I ended up eating both sandwiches by myself!
