Starbucks Bistro Boxes
I’m sure you all know by now how very much I love Starbucks. I am a fiend. My favorite drink is a White Chocolate Mocha, and it is what I get each and every time I wander into a Starbucks (which is quite often). Many times I will also grab a sandwich or a parfait, if it is near lunch time. Now their sandwiches are pretty darned good, and I love the healthy assortment of lunch items they have (and breakfast – their oatmeal is so good!). But I am really in love with their latest offerings!
Starbucks Bistro Boxes are really fun and tasty. They are available in snack and entree sizes, and each Bistro Box is under 500 calories. Score! Many times when I find something I like so much, the calorie content deters me from buying it again. Not true with these. I had the pleasure of trying two different varieties recently, and each was equally tasty. They remind me of Bento Boxes (which I have always gotten a kick out of).

I tried the Sesame Noodles Bistro Box first. I love all things sesame, so this seemed like a natural choice (although it was a little hard to decide – they all looked amazing). The Sesame Noodles Bistro Box had all kinds of goodies in it, including red peppers, broccoli, and snap peas. It also came with a yummy little cucumber salad. The sesame coated peanuts were really good as well! The noodles had the perfect flavor and it was just the right amount to be satisfying without feeling too full.
The second box I tried was the protein Bistro Box. It is full of good stuff! There were grapes, white cheddar cheese (fruit and cheese go together SO well!), a hard-boiled egg (cage free), multigrain bread, and sliced apples. Oh, and some really good peanut butter too! I absolutely loved this box – it is ideal for those times when you want something quick and easy, but still satisfying.

I love that they are packaged in clear plastic containers – I like to see how fresh my food is before I eat it 🙂 It is also really handy if you need or want to save some for later – just stick the top back on and you’re ready to go! Everything was so fresh, and I knew my body was happy.
In addition to the Bistro Boxes that I tried, the following boxes are also available: Cheese & Fruit, Salami & Cheese, Tuna Salad, Chicken & Hummus, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and Chipotle Chicken – nom!
I cannot wait to try the other Starbucks Bistro Box varieties!
