Sweet Andy’s Cookies Review

December 16, 2012 by Jennifer Leave a Comment

I am a cookie fanatic. I have to admit that I am a very good baker, and I usually prefer my own cookies to those that others make. It is rare that I find cookies that are as tasty as mine, but Sweet Andy’s Cookies definitely are!

I was sent a huge assortment of amazing cookies for review, and my daughter and I had a blast pulling each package out of the box and seeing what flavor was next. Sweet Andy’s Cookies sent us Sugar Cookies, Cinnamon Sugar cookies, Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, Triple Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate, and Chocolate Peanut Butter.  I think that is all of the flavors – there were so many!

The Sweet Andy’s Cookies story is heartwarming.  In 2009,  Andy and his wife Lissa found themselves struggling with the downturn of the economy.  Luckily they had many wonderful friends who helped them take care of things around the house, fixing their cars, etc.  Andy was very grateful and decided that he would bake cookies as a “thank you” to these special people.  His friends were so impressed with his cookies and they suggested that he start selling them!  That is exactly what Andy and Lissa did. They fondly named their cookies, “The Thank you Cookie”.  Their business has taken off and they even opened a small retail shop recently.

My taste buds tell me that Andy’s uses the finest and freshest ingredients in their cookies.  That is something I appreciate, as I make my own cookies the same way.  When you order from Sweet Andy’s Cookies, you can look forward to cookies that were baked the day before they were shipped.  How is that for fresh?  You can also look forward to big cookies.   These guys are thick and oh so yummy.

My family and I are still enjoying the cookies, although there aren’t very many left.  My husband’s favorite is the Oatmeal Raisin, my kids like them all and couldn’t pick a favorite.  Mine is probably the sugar cookie, but they all are super tasty.  What I like to do is put them in the microwave for about 12-15 seconds right before eating. Oh my goodness…you’ve got to try this!

A glass of milk, a big plate full of Sweet Andy’s Cookies and I am one happy girl!

*I received the above product, free of charge, to facilitate this review.  All opinions are my own.
