Test your Cleaning Logic with Cottonelle Care Routine

March 7, 2013 by Jennifer 3 Comments

Bathroom habits are usually a really personal subject, and honestly very few people want to hear about other peoples routines. After viewing Cottonelle’s “Test Your Cleaning Logic” videos, I don’t feel so awkward anymore, and neither should you!

The videos were captured with hidden cameras. The people in the videos were “treated” to a few scenarios that are somewhat horrifying (such as wiping down a restaurant table with only a dry towel – not a very effective way to clean something, right?). The reactions of the people were hilarious. You could almost read their minds – saying things like, “Seriously? Do they really think that table is clean? What the…”. The funny thing is, the examples/scenarios given in the videos REALLY made sense!

Especially one of them – it made perfect sense to me, how ineffective dry-washing your hair is. It’s just like using only toilet paper after going potty. One way that I look at it after watching the videos is that we use baby wipes on our babies bums, so why on earth don’t we use a moistened wipe or diaper wipes on our own heinies? I mean, can you imagine just wiping a baby’s butt with toilet paper? Yeah, me either. Why not take care of our “parts” as we grow up and into adulthood?

Thanks to Cottonelle, I now have a new bathroom routine (don’t worry, I won’t go into too much detail). Let’s just say that after two weeks of using Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Wipes and Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper I feel fresher than ever before, except for maybe when I was a baby, and my mom used wipes. Or actually I am not sure that wipes were invented yet (I am kind of old), but I know she used a wet cloth at least! So let’s just say that my new motto is “I’m as fresh now as I was as a baby”. How’s that?

Ahhhh

Using the Cottonelle Fresh Care Wipes is soooo much better than just toilet paper. Trust me. Really. I don’t think I could go back to just dry toilet paper again. It would be like wiping a computer screen with a paper towel without water. Or running a dry mop over a food splattered kitchen floor. Kind of ineffective, ya know?

I am very impressed with how soft the Cottonelle wipes are too. I don’t believe that all wipes are created equal (some are a little rough). In addition to the comfort factor of the wipes, I really appreciate that they are not irritating at all, and not “overdone” with fragrance. They are very lightly scented. As far as Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper – I am equally pleased. It is soft but sturdy. Sturdy is important with toilet paper. Maybe strong is a better word than sturdy.

Are you ready to test your cleaning logic?
