Sudio Vasa Blå Headphones – Wireless Freedom and Flexibility

I’m constantly on the lookout for products that will make my life easier.  And I’m hard to please because I want the very best.  I’m talking the very best quality; I want something that will last.  As well as design, it has to look good.  I’m very excited to share Sudio Sweden’s Vasa Blå wireless earphones.

First, the back story because if you’re like me, when reading Sudio you started singing a little Phil Collins, Sussuidio –

The name Sudio comes from an incident when one of the founders spotted the musician Phil Collins in New York having problems with his headphones. With the frustration of not yet being able to offer any better alternative to Phil the only words he could out were: “trust me I know the feeling”, as they shared eye contact. The name Sudio is an homage to Phil Collins song Sussudio and the determination of succeeding with the venture rendered from the bitter sweet anecdote.

Of course, I’m a huge Phil Collins fan, so I was smitten.  It’s just charming.  And, we’ve all been there.  I can’t tell you how many sets of headphones I’ve gone through.

Vasa Blå is different.  The quality is noticeable from the very first glance.  I received the pink – it’s a beautiful color.  Subtle and classy – definitely something that I can use at work without looking like I’m trying to be one of the students but not matronly.  Students have noticed and comment on them.  Included with the Vasa Blå earphones are four pairs of extra sleeves – they are different sizes so find the best fit for you.  There is a metal clip, which I use to clip to my shirt and a charging cable that fit, along with the headphones in a genuine leather carrying case.

Vasa Blå has a flat cord so it won’t tangle up.  No matter what I’m doing, whether I’m at the gym, washing dishes or mowing the yard, Vasa Blå stays put.  I’m not fighting with the headphones to stay in my ears.  I can’t stress how important this feature is!  It’s wireless technology – Vasa Blå connects to any device via Bluetooth.  It gives me wireless freedom, something I definitely appreciate considering my phone is the size of a poptart.

Along with the construction quality, the sound is amazing.  It’s a studio experience because of the carefully tuned amplifier and driver.  That means that no matter what I’m listening to – music (and I listen to every genre!), podcasts or if I’m on a phone call the sound quality is perfect.  I can adjust the sound on my phone or by using the 3 button control piece conveniently located on the right hand side of the Vasa Blå.

I’ve had the Vasa Blå for several weeks and I’ve charged it once.  That’s because the battery time is reported at 8 hours of active time and 10 days of standby.  Charge the Vasa Blå for 10 and you have a quick boost or a full charge for 120 minutes.  It’s easy to charge with the included cord.  The port is located on the opposite side from the volume and microphone control and isn’t generally noticeable.  Again it’s part of the brilliant and beautiful design.
