With the Verizon Family Locator, you can check on the location of family members’ phones, receive arrival and departure updates, and get detailed directions to your family members’ locations.

I think this is a fantastic idea! My daughter, who is almost 16-years old, recently got her driver’s permit. She still has a bit to go (as far as practicing), and quite honestly, I am worried about her finding her way around. Sure, she has lived in this area for almost nine years, but the problem is she really hasn’t paid much attention when I drive. The last time we were on the freeway, with me driving, I asked her what number the freeway was. She had no idea. When I quiz her on other streets and areas, she usually doesn’t know. She is a smart girl, but just doesn’t know these things. If we use the Verizon Family Locator, we will be able to find her no matter where she is. Hopefully she will learn over time, but it is a comforting feeling to have the locator. Whew!

She can refer to the map to find her way home, or if she is still lost, she can always call home and we will know exactly where she is so we can help.
