Let’s talk whiskey, shall we? It’s something I truly enjoy. This summer we took a couple of hours and toured a distillery on the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky. It was amazing! I discovered I like an oaky whiskey, really oaky whiskey.  It’s delicious, it’s spicey and has a kick.  Unfortunately, I can’t get a double oak of my favorite brand here in Nebraska but thanks to Whiskey Elements from Time & Oak, I can have my whiskey just the way I want it!

Whiskey Elements is absolutely fascinating! I received the Gentleman’s Kit (and you better believe I’m keeping it for myself!) that includes a custom flask, lighter, cigar cutter and a pair of Signature Whiskey Elements. Who says women can’t enjoy this kit? Seriously though, it would make a great gift for the whiskey lover or hard to shop for man in your life!

How do the Signature Whiskey Elements change the flavor? Well, it really does enhance the flavor, I can easily drink my whiskey over the rocks and be happy. That said, I’m surprised how much smoother the taste is after leaving a Signature Whiskey Element in for just about a week. Granted, it’s almost spicy and definitely has that oaky taste. Oh, it’s just delightful!  I’m sure there are plenty of rules when it comes to whiskey and I probably don’t follow them. I simply know what I like and I think that’s what is important.  Find what you like and enjoy, in moderation of course.
