5 Easy Mexican Recipes You Must Try

Easy Mexican Recipes

Everybody loves Mexican food, but we only tend to eat it once in a while at a local restaurant or from the frozen section in the supermarket. Why not try your hand at making some fresh Mexican food in the comfort of your kitchen and learn new skills in making fresh, healthy meals?

Filled Enchiladas

Enchiladas are perfect for evening meals and special meals on the weekend. Unlike other types of Mexican food, enchiladas are quite substantial and can be served with rice, green beans, and BBQ corn. If you want some enchiladas, you can make them or order them from an online store.

Like most Mexican food, enchiladas are made by filling a tortilla wrap with filling and vegetables, but unlike conventional Mexican cuisine, enchiladas are baked instead of fried. Sometimes, enchiladas can become soggy in the oven, so consider frying the tortilla before filling the wrap.

Top Rated Tamales

Tamales are tasty and easy to make; they are perfect for family meals and special events. You might think of a tamale as a mini-burrito or sorts, but they are made in a slightly different way and use a different form of flour. But you can still fill a tamale with your favorite Mexican filling.

If you are not confident in the kitchen, you can always find Tamales for Sale and have them delivered to your home address during your event. Alternatively, you can make them in your home using some corn husks, masa flour, a filling of your choice, guacamole, and sour cream.

Mexican Fiesta Rice

Sometimes Mexican wraps are not enough to fill the stomachs of guests at a gathering, and you need some substantial sides to accompany them. Luckily, you are not the only one to have recognized the issue; Mexican cuisine offers plenty of options to keep guests belly’s satisfied.

Mexican fiesta rice is an excellent example of a substantial side. This totally vegan recipe is spicy, filling, and delicious. Not only does it contain healthy brown rice, but there are plenty of fresh vegetables, spices, and herbs in there as well to keep it interesting and enjoyable.

Vegan Burritos

On the topic of vegan Mexican food, vegan burritos are hot with most people, whether they eat meat or not. Vegan burritos can be made in the same way as ordinary burritos using seitan or tempeh instead of chicken and shredded beef. But there’s something else that sets them apart.

Chimichurri sauce and vegan cheese are used to bring out the flavor of the seitan or tempeh; this sauce is not commonly used on conventional burritos. Aside from that, you have an assortment of pan-fried Mediterranean vegetables, guacamole, and a variety of condiments.

Tasty Quesadillas

Doon’t forget about quesadillas for your family gathering or party. Quesadillas might be small, but they deliver flavor and satisfaction. Quesadillas are also very simple to make; all you need is a large tortilla wrap, a choice of filling, and a pan to heat the wrap before folding and cutting it.
