Back in April, I announced (and invited you!) to the Aldea Baby event, which was taking place at the Aldea Baby store in San Francisco. Although I was not able to attend, I did want to share a couple of photos, so we can “pretend” we were there!
Everyone enjoyed  snacks (even my favorite beverage), and had a chance to wander around, meeting other parents and checking out all that Aldea and Munchkin have to offer for babies, moms and the home.  I really wish I could have been there!
It looks like a good time was had by all! Â Moms and babies were able to see demonstrations of the Munchkin LATCH bottles (and I’m sure a few other products). Just to recap from my previous post, a little information about Munchkin LATCH bottles and their benefits:
The LATCH patents-pending, accordion-style nipple and anti-colic valve system can give mom and baby an easier breast-to-bottle transition while reducing the risk of colic because it: 1. Provides a Better Latch: Experts agree a proper latch is achieved when mom’s nipple reaches all the way back to baby’s soft palate. The accordion-style nipple on LATCH stretches like the breast, helping baby latch easily and correctly. 2. Acts More Like the Breast: When breastfeeding, baby controls the flow of milk by applying pressure to the base of mom’s nipple. The LATCH bottle mimics mom by compressing to release more breast milk as baby pushes against the nipple’s base. 3. Reduces Colic: While feeding, the accordion-style nipple flexes as baby moves her head. This allows baby to maintain her latch, thus decreasing ingestion of air. The one-way, easy-to-clean anti-colic valve located at the bottom of the LATCH bottle allows for breast milk to flow while ensuring air bubbles do not travel through the breast milk.
Even if you were unable to attend the Aldea Baby/Munchkin event, I have a fun giveaway for you below, so you can stock up on baby necessities!

The Dine insulated food jars are excellent!

We are having a tough time getting our little one to drink out of a bottle so we can go out on a date night without the kids. This sounds like a much more natural transition than most.

There are so many great things at the aldea baby store! I think I’d like to get a moby wrap.
I have a new birthday buddy. My Nephew was born two days ago (just adorable) and while she is breast feeding now she will have to pump for bottle feeding after 6 weeks when she returns to work. The Aldea Baby Munchkin Bottle will help make an easier breast-to-bottle transition while reducing the risk of colic. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I would use it towards buying the G3 toddler carseat in Orbit
I’d like to try these to see how they work for my new baby.

The LATCH bottles sounds perfect for us. I plan on breastfeeding baby #2 just like I did our daughter. With our daughter it was REALLY hard to get her to take a bottle, so anything that makes a bottle more “breast like” sounds great!
I am pregnant so would use these for our child! I plan on breastfeeding then pumping when I go back to work.
It’s great that they prevent colic!

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love everything at the Aldea Baby store! I think I would have to buy the Skip Hop “Treetop Wall Decal” for the nursery, and the “So’ Pure Natural Soother” by Callisson…both of those really caught my eye! What a great store!
The insulated food jars look like a great idea!
