Science, technology, engineering, and math are important and I also find them highly interesting. Every job I ever dreamed of having as a kid involved these subjects. When I learned that my children and I would be receiving an Appleseed Lane box to review, I was anxious to receive it and try it out!
Appleseed Lane is a subscription box of STEM-themed activities sent to your door each month! It’s a fun way for kids to learn, created by experts in teaching, parenting, and all things STEM!
The theme of our box was “Sound of Music” and what a favorite for all of us! We got the sibling add-on so each of my girls had an activity they could work on. The box included each of the tools for the project, instructions and scientific explanation for each, and a badge chart to fill out upon completion of our box. I love the way that each Appleseed Lane project’s connection to science was written and taught in a way that the kids could understand and enjoy it.
Playing with our Appleseed Lane box was also such a wonderful family experience. The kids made several musical instruments and a string cup phone, learning about sound and the instruments themselves. They were so happy to color and decorate while they listened to how each item worked the way it did and why. My husband and I had a grand ole time playing their instruments with them. Then afterward, there was a little quiz included to see what they’ve learned! Appleseed Lane makes education fun for everyone, I would highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys learning and wants to build a zest for it within their children!
