Eucerin Skin First Ambassadors, eucerin skin first pledge

I don’t know if you’ve heard the news or not, but Eucerin’s SkinFIRST Ambassador, Sara Kate Gillingham-Ryan from Apartment Therapy, is traveling across the nation to promote healthy skin care. Eucerin is partnering with Regis & Kelly LIVE and ultramarathon runner Dean Karnazes to promote this message that is so important to your health.  This is going to be a blast!

Eucerin Skin First Bus Tour, lotions for dry skin

Both the Ambassador and Eucerin will be helping consumers put the health of their skin first everyday by providing skin care
education to show how important the health of one’s skin truly is. She will travel along with the Skin FIRST Bus which includes a dermatologist office, skin wisdoms and kiosks to take the Skin FIRST pledge. Sara Kate will talk with locals in each city about the importance of taking care of your skin, especially when dealing with local environments and weather conditions.

Feel free to visit the Eucerin Facebook Page where you will be able to follow the Ambassador across the country and can find new skin care tips as well.

We all have different issues with our skin, depending on what part of the country we live in. I know here in the part of California I live in we get really dry skin in the winter (and summer too – it gets very hot!). When we travel up to Lake Tahoe in the winter, I notice how chapped my lips get, in addition to dry, flaky skin.

Hopefully the Eucerin Skin First Bus Tour will be in your area, so you can take advantage of the healthy skin tips they will have for you!

To help celebrate the kick off of the Eucerin Skin first Bus Tour, I have a giveaway for you!

THE GIVEAWAY ended March 16th.

*By entering this giveaway, you confirm that you have read and agree to my giveaway rules. Please allow 6-8 weeks for deliver of prize {though it is usually much sooner}.

  1. Tip: Use lots of lotion for your hands during cold weather. My hands are always getting dried out from all the hand washing and germ prevention!

  2. Because it can get really cold here especially during the winter I will put a dab of Vaseline or Petroleum jelly around the edge of my nose at night. This in addition to the humidifier keeps the nasal passages open and they do not dry out so fast.

  3. It is very dry where I live in the winter. I live outside St Louis. I apply lotion at least 2X a day or my skin gets all crackly!

  4. I carry moisturizer and hand sanitizer in small bottles in my purse to have any time I need.

  5. I apply petroleum jelly on my hands and slip on a pair of gloves while I sleep. It helps to keep my hands soft and smooth.

  6. Our area can get bitter cold in the winter and also very humid, hot & sunny in the summer so I always use a moisturizer with SPF on my skin to protect it as much as I can, I get very dry flaky skin in the winter and having this crazy weather you just need to be prepared to use lots of good lotion on your arms and legs, and remember to keep your lips protected too because of chilly, windy days lips can get very dried out and mine chap easily, I always have little bottles of lotion in my purse and car and chap sticks available in my pockets to help prevent severe dry lips from even starting.

    thanks for the great giveaway

  16. In the winter here, you need to moisturize heavily and often, and make sure your baths and showers are tepid. The summers are so hot and sticky that cold showers are the norm, and non-oily cleansers and moisturizers are recommended.
