Naturalizer donates portion of sales to charity

I love, love, love, companies that give back.  Naturalizer Shoes is doing something pretty amazing, and I am so happy to share it with you!

During the Friends of Naturalizer 2011 program, we will donate $1 for every pair of shoes or bag sold, up to $20,000, to a charitable organization dedicated to these important causes – clean water, wildlife conservation and helping young people learn and grow. We’re leaving it up to you – our friends and family – to decide.

I have worn Naturalizer shoes in the past and they are super comfortable { just a little side note here}, but if you love comfy shoes as much as I do, then Naturalizer is definitely worth checking out {don’t forget that Mother’s Day is just around the corner too!}.   If you do decide to buy shoes or handbags during the April 7-11 time frame of the Friends of Naturalizer program, you can also feel good knowing that $1 of your handbag or shoe purchase will go to charity.  How awesome is that? What else can you do to help?  Well, it’s simple, really.  You can vote for your favorite charity daily {from April 7th to 11th}.  It only takes one click, and you will be helping to decide which charity will receive the monetary donation from Naturalizer.

“Feel Good” is the philosophy of Naturalizer shoes, and their new charitable program is no different. Designed to help women feel good by being able to buy shoes and give back at the same time, the Friends of Naturalizer program will donate $1 for every shoe and handbag sale (up to $20,000) between April 7-11. During this time, anyone can vote for the charity they think should get the $20,000: World Wildlife Fund, Boys & Girls Club or WaterCan.  You can learn more about each of these charities on the Friends of Naturalizer website.  They are all incredibly worth causes!
