When a friend of mine posted her new hairdo on Facebook, I just had to know how she made that awesome ponytail. She told me that she was wearing a HairUWear Wrap Around Pony. Huh? After reading her review and learning more about hair pieces that look natural and really can transform your normal hair into something spectacular, I had to try them.

From HairUWear:

Clip-in extensions inspired by Jessica Simpson, created by Ken Paves. Change your hair as often as you change your mind! From bombshell to bohemian, from daring to demure, from polished to playful, hairdo goes on in minutes to give you exactly the look you want!
Neat right? I was so happy to learn that I, too, would be able to review the Wrap Around Pony. My hair is fairly long, so I wasn’t quite sure how it would look. The Wrap Around Pony that I received was neatly packaged, and the color matched my hair exactly!
I had a bit of trouble putting it on my own hair – maybe my hair is too thick? I tried several times, but I didn’t have much luck. When I was able to get it attached, the fabric piece that the comb is attached to kept poking through my hair. I think if the fabric piece were smaller, it would help immensely. Unfortunately, this just won’t work for me.
I was, however, determined to make it work on somebody’s head 🙂 so I asked my daughter if I could try it on her hair. She has short and finer hair. Granted, the color doesn’t match her hair {since I ordered this for my hair}, but I did want to show you how it looked:

Cute, right? She really liked how she could instantly have longer hair, of course.
Here is a video that demonstrates how to attach the Wrap Around Pony:
HairUWear has several other “styles” too – including buns, braids, updos, extensions {curly or straight}, bangs and more. The Wrap Around Pony can be purchased at Amazon.com, as well as other retailers. Approx ARV is $35.
I encourage you to read my friend Amy’s Wrap Around Pony review on Coffee with the Mrs. – she had a wonderful experience!

CUTE! I’m definitely going to browse these when I get my hair trimmed.
Love the review, speedy. I never considered how the hair pieces would work with different hair types. Mine is pretty fine and I actually use the products I have quite often. {I did just last night when I wanted to dress up my hair for the theater.} I’ll have to keep your review in mind when I get questions about my hair pieces just so I can give a well-rounded answer. 🙂
