Now that we’re expecting our fifth baby, we’ll soon have five children under the age of nine. All of the kids are still very attached to the “blankies” they used as babies and toddlers, even though many of them have not held up well over time. All of my friends have raved about Aden & Anais and how absolutely soft and amazing their blankets are. With their Independence Day celebration line of stars & stripes products available, I decided that it was time I try them for myself, or rather, my kids!
My youngest baby is my little man who will be two in just over a week. He loves a good snuggle and Aden & Anais‘s muslin soft and cozy blankets were the best we’ve tried!
I received the Twinkle Classic Swaddles and the Stardust Classic Burpy Bibs, which I plan to set aside for my adorable new bundle of joy but of course, I had to let my little guy try so that we could see for ourselves just how fantastic these popular products really were!
Obviously after nine months all tucked snugly into your itty bitty womb, babies tend to prefer to be wrapped tightly in a warm cocoon, also known as swaddling. What better way to transition your baby to the world than to swaddle them in the softest blanket out there. Aden & Anais swaddle blankets make swaddling easy because they’re pretty big and 100% cotton muslin. They get softer with each wash, instead of ripping to shreds or losing their softness like so many of the other blankets available out there! Due to the size of swaddle blankets, they make great stroller, nursing, or changing pad covers and they’re breathable so it doesn’t get too hot. I tried to swaddle my giant baby and he thought it was hilarious but the blanket fit him well!
The Aden & Anais Burpy Bibs are burp cloths and bibs in one! They’re similar to the swaddle blankets in that they are 100% cotton muslin and machine washable but they’re also very absorbent to soak up those spit-up messes quickly! They’re also big, so they give really generous coverage too! I can definitely say that the quality of every other burp cloth and bib I’ve ever touched has been far inferior to these. They were all too thin and gritty-feeling, nothing like Aden & Anais!
I love these adorable stars & stripes designs on the Aden & Anais blankets but really, all of their designs are so cute! I think they are really elegant but also subtle, not overly busy! If I were going to buy blankets for someone as a baby shower gift, I can confidently say that I would only get Aden & Anais items for them! I would highly recommended Aden & Anais and I’m so ecstatic that I finally tried them out for our family! I made a little baby registry, mostly for myself or family, and I basically filled it with Aden & Anais products!
