This year I’ll have a first grader and freshman. I remember my high school days and the massive amounts of studying (that I was supposed to do, but didn’t necessarily do!), my book bag was always heavy. There’s now a solution to those heavy backpacks! It’s called the Airbac – the only backpack with a patented air support system that helps you feel like you’re carrying half the weight.

We tried out the Layer Airbac. It’s a large backpack, perfect for young adults and even professionals. Roomy enough for a 17” laptop, there is plenty of storage for other materials as well. Textbooks, cellphone, iPad or iTouch, you name it and there’s a pocket for it! There are side zip pockets as well as mesh pockets too. Airbac backpacks feature wide comfort shoulder straps that have added padding for comfort and control.

I have to tell you, I’m most impressed with the air support system. It’s pretty cool! Not only does it really help with the load in the backpack, but I feel like my stuff is protected. Recently, I took the Layer out for the day, along with my laptop and DSLR, plus the multitude of other stuff. I was comfortable and I didn’t once think about all of the stuff I was lugging around, you know that it’s a success if I’m not complaining! Take a look at the following video to see how it works.
Airbac backpacks have a number of designs, for the sports-minded to the tech savvy, backpacks for kids and adults! There are a number of color and design options a well. Airbac backpacks retail from $49.99 to 149.99.
