I was invited to go to my local Anna’s Linens for a little shopping trip. The last time I had been in an Anna’s Linens store was probably 15-years ago – in a run down mall. This time I went to a different Anna’s Linens by our vacation home, and oh my, how they have changed!
Before I even walked in the door, I started noticing the great deals. I REALLY wish I had paid more attention to Anna’s Linens before I furnished our vacation home, because I could have saved a bundle…especially on pillows! Take a look for yourself – $2.99 for these pillows. I grabbed two and headed into the store to see what else I could find.
I first noticed how neat and tidy the store was. As I wandered further I noticed what a great selection they had. If you are thinking about giving a room a makeover, Anna’s Linens would be a great place to start. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of decorative pillows. I had to resist the urge though, since I have begun making my own throw pillows.
Oh and don’t get me started on the items below – they are absolutely gorgeous! I desperately want the clock on the bottom shelf (it will perfectly match the colors and decor I have in my vacation home!), and I will be buying it in a few days when I head back to Anna’s Linen’s to see what other goodies I can find. See the seat cushions on the left? They had just about every color imaginable.
I may also pick up some new bedding. I found a very nice selection of sheets, blankets and even mattress toppers – all of which were very reasonably priced (and so much more inexpensive than at department stores). They had several character sets too, for those of you with small children. Towels? You bet! Anna’s Linens carries all kinds of towels in a wide array of colors.
If you are looking for kitchen supplies – Anna’s has you covered! From pots and pans to spatulas, I’ll bet you won’t have to look any further.
I was thrilled to see a “As Seen on TV” section too. I usually end up finding something that I have wanted to order from TV, but just never quite got around to ordering.
Here is what I purchased:
I bought two pillows and this adorable little polar bear pillow for my husband. He just has a thing for polar bears and I knew he would love it. Anna’s Linen’s had several others to choose from as well:
I also purchased a couple of bamboo placemats for the recipe posts on my blog, cloth napkins, napkin rings, a cute blue tumbler for my husband’s bathroom counter, a zebra print over-the-door shoe organizer for my daughter, and a snake for clogged pipes.
My grand total? $52.35
I would say that I had an excellent shopping day! I wish I could show you everything that Anna’s carries, but you’ll really have to take a look for yourself. If you look at the receipt above, you can see just how inexpensive everything is. If you are a food blogger, you’ll definitely want to check out the props for food photography in their kitchen section. They have really nice placemats, napkin rings, cloth napkins and other items.

We used to have a linen store close to us when we lived in Florida, but up north there’s nothing of the sort even remotely close to us. I miss shopping there, and loved living vicariously through your pics. your store even looks the same! 🙂

I have never seen or heard of them before but I’d certainly stock up on those pillows. That is a great buy in itself!
I need new pillows and sheets.. this store (and the prices) look incredible!. I went to their website and sadly, there are no Anna’s Linens within 50 miles of my home!

I really like Anna Linens…My husband and I bought a bed set that was white (scary to use white) with red accents! It was beautiful!!! My mom fell in love with it and I had no regrets using white for my bed…even with the 5 children (3 little ones-6, 3, 1)!!
You can tell by the pictures that the store is nice and clean and organized. It looks like they have some amazing deals. I would have grabbed a bunch of the pillows also. I will have to see if there is a store close to me. I love a great deal.

Oh wow – I would have loved to shop here – this looks like a version of Burlington coat Factory. I like the kitchen and made for TV section.
I have never heard of Anna’s Linens but with 6 beds in this household I know I would save a ton if I could shop there. I bet I would be in towel heaven there =)

I have not heard of Anna’s Linens where I live. But it sounds like a great store with really good bargains. Those pillows that you got for $2.99 each look like very good pillows. I liked a lot of the nice stuff that was shown in the pictures!
i’ve never heard of this chain of stores. i certainly could have fun there, but would probably have to limit it to save money.

I too had a similar surprise recently stumbling upon an Anna”s linens store. they used to be very down market, but they seem to have really changed their image and buying style. good for them! I bought some cute sofa pillows and they were a steal.

That is quite a haul for $52!! 🙂 I used to frequent Anna’s a long time ago, but haven’t been in quite some time. I had forgotten the bargains you can find if you take the time to really peruse the store! I love their clearance items!! You can really stock up and create an “emergency gift stash” too! I have one near me.. you did a perfect review of what they are like and all the deals. I don’t go often, but I have to say one of their biggest draws is those pillows! and then towels.. Great Job Jennifer..

I would go crazy in that section with all the kitchen utensils and gadgets, and the price on those pillow was really great.

I love to shop in Annas Linens. They have some beautiful comforter sets, towels sets, decorative items, & good sales.
I had no idea the variety of merchandise they sell!
To be honest, I didn’t realize anna’s linens was still open. They closed a few locations near us.
