American Girl Bitty Baby Collection

American Girl Bitty Baby Collection Review and Giveaway {ARV $80}

American Girl

It’s not like we need another reason to love American Girl in our home, but the package we got in the mail from American Girl[*] is just too sweet not to love {and share}. August 27th American Girl is debuting its updated and expanded Bitty Baby line. Along with new 15-inch baby dolls, there are also new accessories, outfits, story-themed play sets, plush animals, and a book collection by Kirby Larson and Sue Cornelison!

The Bitty Baby line is a sweet collection for little girls {3+}. The Bitty Baby dolls are now available in 11 different combinations of eye color, skin tone, and hair color, letting your daughter choose a baby she will absolutely adore! Each baby doll comes with a wishing star keepsake toy and Bitty Baby and Me, which is the first book in the new hardcover picture book series.

Luv was so excited to read Bitty Baby and Me {and I enjoying listening to the story}! The lovable illustrations are by Sue Cornelison and the story by Kirby Larson. It is a heartwarming story of a little girl and her special new friend, a Bitty Baby doll. They get to know each other and had a great time together, despite the girl’s older sister’s prickly disposition.

American Girl Bitty Baby Collection Review and Giveaway {ARV $80}

I appreciate the section in the back of the book that is just “For Parents”. It offers tips to help little girls confidently rise to challenges {whether emotional or social} and find resolve. A great example is tailoring a story to your child’s specific challenge.

Luv’s Thoughts:

I think it’s fun! I like when they make sparkly twinkly stars the best ’cause the wish comes true. The girl and the Bitty Baby dressed up like ballerinas, too. That was cool. I want a Bitty Baby doll. I would call her Alger.

That’s quite the unique name! *chuckle*
