Conversation gone wrong…
The other night, we were going to pick up Mexican food for dinner.
Here is how this conversation went:
Me: Â “I’ll drive to pick up dinner if you’ll go in to get it”
Him: Â “Okay, sweet!”
Me (Five minutes before we left): Â “We’ll leave in five minutes hon”
Him: “Okay”
Me (Five minutes later): “Okay let’s go”
Him: “Go where?”

Was he watching tv when this occurred? Men!
Yep! You are good!
LOL well I’m glad I’m not alone! I don’t know if they just don’t listen or what but it’s soooo frustrating!
Ugh, that sounds like my husband! He swears he listens to me but I know half the time it’s in one ear and out the other. So frustrating! I hope he went with you anyway! 🙂
Oh believe me- he did! They do swear they listen…but obviously they don’t 🙂
Don’t those conversation drive you crazy? Im forever telling my husband something only for him to swear a couple of days later that I never told him.
Mine does the same thing..he will deny it to the death even though I know I said it.
Yes!!
again, I think I married your husband’s brother. LOL~
I have to ask, was there a TV on or a gaming unit on during this. Perhaps any sporting events? LOL>>>LOL>> Yep, that be us!
Hehe that is funny. Sounds like something that would happen in our home!! My husband has selective hearing!
Yup – had the same conversation over here with my hubby at least a million times. They can be so dense sometimes LOL.
The really can 🙂
Got to love the canned answers. In this case it is pretty much safe to assume that we all married the same many. I think it is a genetic defect that allows them to give the appropriate response without really listening to the question.
lol sounds just like my husband too! ha ha
Haha don’t feel bad I have to deal with the same thing, he’ll say you didn’t tell me that, I never said that, sometimes I wish everything was being recorded so I could just rewind and prove I’m right lol
Argh my husband does this too and I honestly don’t think he does it intentionally. It is frustrating though.
