I have some really exciting news for you! Macy’s and Disney present a night of wholesome family fun with cast members from the movie PROM. Meet the stars while shopping for a prom dress! You may have heard of Disney’s movie “Prom”, but if you haven’t, you definitely want to check it out. This Wednesday {April 13th}, two of the stars from the upcoming Disney movie will be at Macy’s in Union Square (San Francisco) for an exclusive in-store shopping event! Yep – you have the chance to meet Aimee Teegarden and Thomas McDonell. Maybe take your BFF and head to the city early and grab lunch before heading to Macy’s. You don’t want to miss this!
At “Prom,” every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; “Prom” portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there’s only one “Prom.”
Macy’s and Disney are hosting this fun event and while you are there you can shop for your prom dress, while having loads of fun.
You’re invited to meet the cast of Disney’s new movie, “Prom.” Be our date in the junior department at Macy’s. The first 200 guests will meet stars Aimee Teegarden and Thomas McDonell.
Make a girl’s prom dream come true! Donate your gently worn prom or formal dress at the signing and it will go in the to the local Donate My Dress chapter, The Princess Project.
So not only can you find your perfect prom dress, you can also do something to help!
Macy’s invites prom-goers of all ages (teens and moms alike) to “be our date” in the Junior Department.
