What do you think about date night ideas? I think they are a perfect way for a couple to stay connected…especially when they have children. For the stay at home parent, it is a welcome relief to get out of the house, and for the working spouse (or if both spouses work), it can also be something to look forward to.
I’d love to hear about your date nights! Do you make time for them? Do you feel that they help relationships, or do you feel guilty when you have a date night?

I AGREE!I They are a perfect way for a couple to stay connected, especially when they have children.
All couples should make time for a date night.
I never did that enough, and it’s a big regret for me. 🙁
Bill and I are together almost all the time, even though I work on my computer downstairs and he works on his upstairs (we send each other IMs all day long, too) because he is retired and I am disabled. We are even working on a new business venture together (I’m the talent, he’s the money man – haha). But we still find time to make sure that we have date nights where we go out, put on realy clothes – not shorts and t-shirts – and I put on make-up. It is really a great thing to do, just to get out of the house and be together with other adults. It really does make a difference. We can’t do it as much as we used to because of our finances, but we do it as often as we can.
