Ever since my daughter was little, she’s loved drawing and doing different types of art. I’m always been amazed by the things that she can draw. Right now, she’s really into digital art & is always drawing new characters on her tablet. Art is such an important thing to bring into our kid’s lives and I love that my daughter loves it. I’ve always loved buy her art books and coloring books when she was little. Books that feature art can come in so many different genres, ways of teaching, mediums and can teach so many different things. We were able to review a few art books that were not only fun but different from other books we have seen.
The first book is called Mom and Me: An Art Journal to Share: Create and Connect Side by Side. This is a beautiful book that allows moms & daughters to draw together. You’ll be able to draw scenarios and scenes that will allow you & your child to communicate, while being creative. The questions in this book will make you think, open up the lines of communication and bring out your artistic side. You can find this book on Amazon.
The second book we checked out is called Hand Lettering A to Z: A World of Creative Ideas for Drawing and Designing Alphabets. This book is not only beautiful but is great for teaching you how to do so many different types of hand lettering. Inside the book, you’ll even find example of crafts and gift ideas using these techniques. Great for any skill level, you’ll love looking at the colorful letters, as well as the black & white letters. While I am definitely not artistic, I had a lot of fun playing around with the different types of letters in this book. You can also find this amazing book on Amazon.
The last book we sent was a LOT of fun! It’s called Stick it to ‘Em: Playful Stickers to Color & Create: 275+ stickers with sass for family, friends, and frenemies. Half of this book is filled with fun, quirky stickers that are already colored in by the author. the other half of the books is filled with amazing stickers that you get to color in. My daughter and I had a blast not only looking through every single sticker but also coloring some of our own! You can find this fun book on Amazon.
Which of these amazing books would you most like to check out for yourself?
