Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Since becoming a mom a little over 7 years ago I have had to make some sacrifices, one of those is the privilege to take showers nightly which means not being able to wash my hair every night. Having oily hair, just one night of not washing it and it looks like I haven’t showered for weeks the next day. Awhile back shampoos used to have what hair type they were for and a few still do but most just focus on the scent. Thanks to Aussie I easily found the right shampoo for my hair type and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve also been able to find natural organic shampoo and conditioner brands online.

Aussie’s shampoo and conditioners are categorized into collections that provide simple solutions for every hair type, whether your hair is dry, oily or even dull, making it easy to find your perfect match. I looked at the checklist from Aussie celebrity stylist Sarah Potempa and was quickly able to find the perfect shampoo and conditioner for my hair type, Confidently Clean. When I got my shampoo and conditioner to review I had to wait until I had the perfect opportunity to take a shower…that wasn’t until the kids were in bed and asleep, even though I barely had the energy to shower (I really wanted a bath). I was excited to try the shampoo and conditioner. When I opened the bottle, the smell was so sweet. Jeff asked me the next day what the scent was because he liked it, I told him I didn’t know and checked the bottles but there was nothing listed. He said it smelled like bubblegum but I think it’s more fruity. Either way, it works for men and women, and Jeff happily uses it too.

The next night after I washed my hair for the first time with Aussie, I fell asleep without getting a shower and was scared to look in the mirror the following morning not knowing what my hair would look like, I was pleasantly surprised when my hair wasn’t oily! It looked like it did the day before. To truly test Aussie, I decided I’d take a bath the next couple of nights and skip washing my hair to see how long it took to get oily again. I went a total of 3 nights without washing my hair before it started looking oily again. No, I don’t recommend going 3 days without washing your hair, but sometimes as a  mom, it could be a day or two before getting time or energy to shower and it’s nice to know no one could tell I hadn’t washed my hair.

No matter what your hair type is, Aussie has a collection that is just right for you and the whole family!
