As mothers we often make sacrifices for our children. It’s only natural. But it is important to take time for yourself now and then, even if it is something small. Pampering is a perfect example. You don’t have to go to a luxury spa and spend obscene amounts of money on skin care treatments for pampering. I relish the days where I can take a little longer to get ready and just treat my skin to some nourishment.
Made right here in the USA, Nourish is the first 100% organic bath and body collection that is certified by the USDA. That is huge! They completely leave out artificial ingredients, genetically modified organisms, preservatives, pesticides, and chemicals – only using eco-friendly, clean, and nutrient-rich fruits, vegetables, and plant extracts. They are also gluten-free, vegan, and cruelty-free. “Organic Food for Healthy Skin” is the perfect description for Nourish products.
I was sent a couple Nourish products to try out. The first was the Organic Body Butter. It is available in a handful of scents; Almond Vanilla, Fresh Fig, Lavender Mint, Wild Berries, and an unscented option. When first applying my Wild Berries body butter, I immediately felt the creamy richness and took in the yummy, yet subtle scent. It felt as if I was applying a light, airy whipped cream to my skin. Shea butter, coconut and olive oils, and vitamin E all work together to combat dry skin. I’ve been rubbing my feet with it lately and they certainly seem to appreciate the pampering each night.
I also received a bottle of Nourish Organic Hand Wash, which is available in the same scents as the Body Butter. This time I received Fresh Fig. These hand washes are made up of a blend of coconut, sesame seed, and sunflower oils, coconut milk, Shea butter, and quinoa protein. The hand wash is a silky formula, which I love. Its lather is gentle, yet still washes away grime with ease. Luv was “helping” the mister with his bike chain the other night and her hands were covered with grease. But they cleaned up with no fuss using our new hand wash! I was impressed. I’m not super fond of this scent, which surprised me. I love figs. I just don’t pick up on a fig smell when using it, I smell the oils more than anything.
Nourish Organic Body Butter {$9.99} and Hand Wash {$7.99} are available to purchase exclusively at Whole Foods Market with more Nourish products to follow later this year!

Pampering yourself can be a great pick-me-up and treat! I’m not sure what figs smell like, but now you have me curious…
