My son Justin has very sensitive skin. He gets diaper rash at the drop of a hat and the slightest bit of sun causes him to turn pink immediately. I have always hesitated to put sunscreen on him because I was afraid it would be too harsh for his skin. I guess I didn’t need to worry because after trying the Aveeno Baby products that were sent to me for review, I now know that I CAN use sunscreen on him!
Aveeno Baby products are specially formulated with ACTIVE NATURALS® ingredients. This is important as they help to nourish, protect and sooth baby’s very sensitive skin (they are even effective on babies and children who have eczema!)
Now I’m no stranger to Aveeno products. I have used them in the past and they were always wonderful at protecting and soothing my own skin, so naturally I am thrilled that I can use them on my kids too. I no longer have to fear being out in the sun with my youngest son. Thanks to Aveeno I can protect his skin while we are out enjoying the day. I like to use the Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Lotion Sunscreen and then continue protecting his skin at the end of the day by washing with Aveeno Soothing Relief Creamy Wash (Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Creamy Wash ($4.71-$5.67/8 oz bottle. $6.29-$7.55 /12 oz bottle.). Of course we top off his new skincare routine with Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream!
Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream contains Active Naturals Oatmeal which helps to soothe dry skin. It has even been clinically proven to keep baby’s skin moisturized for 24-hours! Since it is hypoallergenic, it is even safe to use on little ones with sensitive skin. It is non-greasy (love this – nothing is worse than feeling like you’ve dipped your hands in a vat of oil after applying lotion!). and absorbs quickly. Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream is hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. ($4.71-$5.67 /5oz tube. $6.29-$7.55/8oz tube).
AVEENO Baby Continuous Protection SPF55 is non-greasy, but still water resistant (for 80 minutes in fact!). It is fragrance-free and hypo-allergenic for sensitive skin. ($9.99/4oz tube).
Helpful tips!
Aveeno suggests that if you want to prevent dry skin in your little ones, try to stay away from salt water or chlorine. Also, make sure you cut bath time down to 10 minutes. Another great suggestion is to run a humidifier in your child’s room, your child(ren) keeps well hydrated. And this goes without saying, but always look for products that are formulated for your baby’s delicate skin!
You can find Aveeno Baby products at retailers both online and off.
I am happy to offer this same wonderful set to one lucky reader! Good luck!

We only bath our daughter about 2-3 times a week unless she gets super dirty and sweaty from outdoor play. Otherwise, her skin dries out significantly. We also only use tepid water rather than hot water. And we make sure to moisturizer her skin thoroughly after each bath.
