Time sure flies! 2017 went by so fast for me – the holidays were here before I knew it! The same will hold true for this summer, I imagine, and you don’t want to get caught off guard trying to find something for your kids to do this summer. What makes Avid4Adventure so appealing? Well, as a parent, I LOVE that they do fun outdoor activities that provide plenty of exercise. I remember when I was a kid and I went to day camp, it was really fun, and we did all sorts of things, but we didn’t do anything very physical. For kids, the fun is in everything they do, as well as learning and making new friends.
With help from our time-tested curriculum and insanely experienced instructors, we give campers solid skills and character-shaping confidence, launching them into a lifetime of empowering adventure.
What is also nice is that they can accommodate ages Pre-K through 11th grade, yet all activities are tailored for specific age ranges. This is awesome if you have several children in different age groups.
Activities are plentiful and include hiking, bicycling, paddling, climbing and more.
The staff are a little older than at traditional camps, but they do an outstanding job, as they have years of experience. The goal of Avid4Adventure is to show kids all of the fun things that they can do outdoors and hopefully they will be inclined to include these types of adventures in their every day life as they grow. Kids participating in day camp, and entering grades Pre-K through 7th grade will get a customized plan, based on their age & abilities. Pretty neat!
