I absolutely love getting new clothes for my daughters. There are so many cute shirts, pants, dresses, shoes, and more for children nowadays, and I tend to go a little overboard with buying them clothing. However, living in a small town, there is not much selection available locally, so I am always on the lookout for cute different clothing online or whenever I travel to bigger cities.
Baby’s Got Soul is a San Diego-based company that specializes in making unique onesies and t-shirts for children, including Fun & Funky Designs, Hometown Pride (Made in City/State), Football Teams, SoCal & Beach Activities, Healthy Living, Positive Thoughts & Love, and even Custom Designs. With tons and tons of fun designs, different colors, and sizes ranging from 3-6 months to 6T, there is something for every child!
I received two t-shirts for my daughters, and I had a hard time choosing which ones I wanted, as there were so many to choose from! For my oldest daughter, I spent almost a half hour searching for the perfect shirt for her personality. Finally, I chose a shirt from the Fun & Funky Designs category – a pink t-shirt with the words “My Dad is Rad” on the front.
For my youngest daughter, I got a pink t-shirt from the Hometown Pride category. These shirts feature a picture of your state and a star where you live, along with the words “Made in [your town].” You provide the state and zip code, and Baby’s Got Soul finds your exact location to place the star. You can even provide your city’s nickname or a specific neighborhood.
The shirts arrived wrapped up like little burritos, and the girls had fun unwrapping them and seeing what was inside. They were so excited to see their new shirts and insisted on putting them on right away. My oldest daughter asked me what her shirt said, and when I told her “My Dad is Rad,” she looked at my husband with a huge grin on her face. And while my youngest daughter did not really care about the design on her shirt, she was certainly happy to receive one just like her big sister. I was pleased with the shirts as well. The material is soooooo soft so I know my girls will be comfortable, but it also appears to be durable enough to hold up to their active lifestyles and multiple washings (when my oldest daughter finds a shirt that she likes, she wears it over and over again). I also like that the shirts are unique, so it is unlikely that we will see other children wearing the same thing where we live. Plus, the designs are so fun and creative – I don’t know how many times I laughed out loud while looking through them. And the best part is that the shirt are very affordable – they sell for $19.95 each, which is a great price for a great shirt.
