Years ago I visited a Stacks and Stacks store and was so impressed by the ingenious products they carried. I wanted one of everything! I am happy to tell you that Stacks and Sacks has so kindly let me review one of their products for our Back to School event, AND they are also letting me give away another product!
While I was looking around on their website, I was floored at the sheer amount of wonderful, clever and helpful products. I am desperately trying to get my house organized and I see so many of their products that would make my life so much easier. Who thinks of some of these products (and why didn’t I think of that!)? I also found their Clutter Control Freak Blog – it has some very neat ideas and tips on how to control clutter. I have a feeling I will be spending a lot of time on that site!
The item that was sent to me for review is the Collapsible Laundry Hamper Caddy. Now, the name is a little deceiving, only because it make sit seem like it is only for laundry…this is not true!! It can be used for so many things. The caddy arrived at the perfect time, as we were leaving for our trip to Santa Cruz a few days later. I opened the box and the caddy was flat. I lined up the four sides in side the caddy and after it was assembled it was huge. Immediately several ideas popped in my head, on how this could be used. I knew we would be taking it on our trip, as it would be perfect for hauling our “supplies” to the beach. Yes! I would use it as a beach caddy! It has a pull out handle (like the rolling suitcases), and it would be so much easier to pull this along behind me on the beach (rather than struggling with heavy beach bags like I usually do!). We did use this at the beach and it was perfect…we even had room to spare!
But as we were packing to leave for our trip, I had another bright idea (these don’t happen very often!). You know when you are going on vacation and you load the suitcases in the car, but you always have extras that don’t seem to fit anywhere so you need to make several trips to the car? We always have those extras and they usually include a huge toiletry bag, snacks, beach supplies, jackets, etc. I decided to consolidate all of those oddball things and put them all in the caddy. It worked beautifully! We only had to load our suitcases and the caddy into the car! We collapsed the caddy at the hotel after we unloaded it, and it stored away nicely until it’s next use (the beach).
My son will be going back to college next month, and this would be so perfect for his laundry too. I don’t know if I can bear to part with this treasure, but I may have to. The good news is I can buy another one for myself. Stacks and Stacks offers free shipping on many of their items too, which is definitely helpful.
