School has started in many areas, and it starts for my daughter next week. Where did the summer go? I was enjoying sleeping in! My daughter and I have been doing lots of back-to-school shopping and I think we are ready for the big day.
One thing we don’t need to purchase is a backpack/tote for her, thanks to Lands End. We were asked to choose something she would like for school, and since my daughter is in high school, these days she prefers more of a messenger bag. We received a really nice black messenger back that is perfect for her needs. Not only is it just the right size, it is comfortable. She has packed her school supplies in it, and has tested it out.
My daughter’s favorite features of the Lands End Messenger bag is the two zippered pouches (very roomy) and the super comfortable shoulder strap. It is thick and padded and fits her perfectly. That is music to my ears, as I am always concerned with the weight of books and supplies of some of the backpacks/bags that students have to carry around these days! What’s nice is that it also has a handle on the top, in case she wants to carry it that way.

One other nice thing is most of the items for kids can be monogrammed (which is really handy, since kids tend to lose things).

I like the look of messenger bags too. They tend to be a more inconspicuous choice for students and it looks like the one she chose would work well for after school use as well!
