Stale Cheerios. Sour milk. Puke. Don’t you just love the way your little bundle of joy treats that expensive car seat you just installed? They may be mandatory safety devices, but with all the crud they attract, most car seats quickly morph into germ-infested cesspools that not even the most avid Heloise fan can keep clean.

Not a problem if your car seat is decked out in a new, award-winning cover by Bokoo Covers. (Bokoo is the phonetical spelling for the French word “beacoup,” meaning “a lot” and represents all the wonderful features these covers provide). These genius inventions sport a patented-design that won them top honors from iParenting Media Awards and Mom’s Best Awards. Hidden Velcro allows you to easily put on and take off a Bokoo Cover without fussing with car seat buckles, straps or having to remove the seat from the car.

They are also the first and only car seat cover company to be approved by a car seat manufacturer; Chicco. You can find more about this on its website http://www.chiccousa.com/info/Chicco-FAQ.aspx.

A reason for this tremendous accolade is because Bokoo Covers are specifically designed and tailored to your actual car seat model. Whether you have a Graco SnugRide or a Britax Marathon, Bokoo Covers are a perfect fit.

As if you weren’t sold already, Bokoo Covers contain a special anti-crumb design and waterproof, breathable liner to keep crumbs and liquids from permeating the seat.  To top it off, Bokoo Covers made it a priority to crash test its covers to meet the National Highway Traffic Administration safety standards for car seats.

Bokoo carseat cover review

Pictured above is our Chicco KeyFit Infant Seat. We have the Blueberry cover from Bokoo. The fabric is soft and durable. It was very easy to put on, and take off. I love that you can personalize the covers with your child’s name. My favorite feature is the covers are made from hypoallergenic GreenGuard Certified fabrics that are free of harsh chemicals, fade and stain-resistant as well as from organic fabrics and fleece.

My only sad face about these covers is that they don’t make them for our Recaro carseat, yet! If you don’t see your car seat on the website, feel free to contact them and let them know.

Bokoo has customizable infant, toddler and big kid car seat covers for 18 different car seat makes and models range from $69-$79 and are available at www.BokooCovers.com. You’ll also find stroller covers ($49), anti-microbial airplane pillow covers ($19) and car seat canopies ($15) available to your liking as well.
