*I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I am happy to announce that I am a Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) Ambassador, but more importantly, I have some great information on how you can help kids much needed school supplies, thanks to JC Penney and the JC Penney Cares program.
Helping is easy! When you shop at JC Penney during the month of July, you can choose to round up to the next dollar when you check out. 100% of the money you give will go directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The BGCA is such an important organization. For over 100 years they have not only provided kids with after school programs, but they prepare them for going back to school each year. If you have children, I am sure you are familiar with the back to school shopping at the end of Summer vacation. Many families cannot provide the basic school supplies for their children, but with the help of BGCA, these same kids will get a fresh start at the beginning of the school year. The BGCA helps to prepare nearly 2 million children each year. ALL children are our future, and the BGCA believes in these kids and wants to give them everything they need to be successful and achieve their goals and dreams.
If you are unfamiliar with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, I highly encourage you to watch the video below.
Can I count on you?
I really hope you will help out next time you are at JC Penney (perhaps when you do your school shopping for your own kids!). Every bit helps, and when you round up, you CAN make a difference. If you won’t be shopping at JC Penney anytime soon, you can also donate directly on the BGCA website.
Feel free to connect with BGCA on Facebook and follow @BGCA_Clubs on Twitter!

That’s wonderful! One of our nieces is part of her local Boys and Girls Club – I’ll pass the info on to my MIL, for sure. She’ll want to support, too!
