Comfort for Mom and Baby with the Candide Multi-Relax 3-in-1 Pillow!

Breastfeeding was a tough one with my oldest. I didn’t know what to do and I just made the assumption that it would all come naturally but there was pressure from all sides that really didn’t help. With number two, I was prepped and ready. I started to realize that I preferred to have my baby boosted a little bit, it made it much easier on me to nurse them. Since then, I’ve considered nursing pillows absolutely essential. Every mom has their “must” and “don’t bother” list and they vary from mom to mom, but at the top of my very short list is a nursing pillow. Candide has just branded its name along my nursing pillow preference and I’ll tell you why…

Candide‘s 3-in-1 Multi-Relax Pillow isn’t just a nursing pillow. It can be use for maternity support for those big pregnant bellies and also for baby to relax in! The material on the pillow is very comfortable and soft to the touch, something I’ve not experienced with other pillows. In the past, I’ve made my own soft covers for pillows because their texture wasn’t the greatest. The inside is more like a bean bag feeling whereas other nursing pillows I’ve used are a bit rock solid. Candide feels PERFECT and I love it so I know my bitty baby is going to love it.

I’m pregnant now so I’m currently using the Candide 3-in-1 Multi-Relax Pillow’s micro-ball support functionality to cozy up while I work or relax and watch television. I’m pretty exhausted lately so there is a lot of sitting with my Candide pillow. The kids keep trying to steal it because it’s so soft but it’s for mommies and little babies or at least, that’s what I’m telling them. Really, I can see it being a great body pillow for all ages after your wee ones grow out of its intended functions.

As far as a nursing pillow, the Candide pillow gives the boost you need to bring the baby to the breast (or bottle) comfortably and also has enough “squish” to it that it’s not too hard on their little backs. I’m looking forward especially to using this as a nursing pillow because I know it will be used multiple times a day for at least the first several months and it’s just so much better than the ones I’ve had previously. My little guy demonstrated it for me even though he’s too old for the need of a nursing pillow (and he’s no longer nursing)!

Being able to strap the baby into the pillow like a little chair is pretty awesome. There is fabric that holds in their little legs as a harness, kind of like those you would see on a bouncer chair. I’ve never had a chair/pillow like this before and yet the need has always been there. I need to be able to put the baby down somewhere safe where it can be comfy and I can get up for a minute to do something. I envision going from nursing to tucking Baby into their chair while I relax next to them. I love this idea and I haven’t seen another like it before!

The Candide 3-in-1 Multi-Relax Pillow has a little pocket to tuck away the fabric from baby chair harness, which I love. The pillow itself folds up pretty compact to be able to store it away. Again, the pillows I’ve used in the past were firm and you couldn’t mush them up for storage anywhere. Nope, they just took up a bunch of space and I have too many kids to waste space if I’m not using it so I am thrilled with anything that can be downsized a bit for storage! Another great perk is that the cover is removable and it’s machine washable, which is totally necessary when you’re surrounding by kids!
