Chocolate Covered Potato Chips
I had fun making these festive Chocolate Covered Potato Chips that will be perfect to put out on your holiday table!
If you are looking for some gourmet treats to add to your table this holiday season you will notice that just about anything chocolate covered can be a bit pricey.
It is super easy to recreate this tin of chocolate covered potato chips.
I used the same Sephra chocolate for these as I did for the my snack mix mentioned later in this post.
I melted about a cup of the Sephra chocolate chips. You want to take your time and follow conventional chocolate melting instructions.
Low heat, or a double boil method will help prevent scorching the chocolate. Sephra provides a really helpful video if you need some guidance on the double boil method.
I carefully dipped each ruffled potato chip, and placed on wax paper.
Pro tip. This is not a time when you want to cut corners. If the chip is an off brand it may not be thick enough to stand up to the process. Go with a chip you know to be robust. I like Ruffles!
Before the chocolate set, I put a few festive sprinkles on each chip (aren’t these the cutest holly sprinkles?). You could use M & M’s or another candy of your choice as well.
Enjoy!
