Chuggington The Chugger Championship DVD Review

Chuggington is back!

In “The Chugger Championship,” Wilson, Brewster and Coco are back and ready to put their “wheels to the rails” for the biggest race in Chuggington! The exciting brand-new DVD features six engaging adventures that invite preschool-age fans and their families to join the three animated best friends as they prepare for a test, invent a new contest and pick up a fun hobby – all the while learning about the importance of accountability and responsibility – and that a true champion isn’t always the one who finishes first!

Lucky us, this is our second opportunity to review a Chuggington DVD. The latest Chuggington DVD (Chuggington: The  Chugger Championship) released on October 11, 2011, finds the trainees getting ready for an important test, invent a new contest, and start a fun hobby. They even discover that a true champion isn’t always the one who crosses the finish line first.

From a child’s view I think that my girls love the Chuggington cartoons because the characters are young and likeable. As a parent I appreciate that they teach everyday lessons. Be it learning to share or working together to accomplish a task you will find it in this dvd. Each episode is just 10 minutes long so you can easily control the amount of tv your child watches. My 2, 4, and 6 year olds all love this dvd and they are girls so believe me when I say Chuggington is a favorite of both genders. There are 6 new adventures and the playing time is 61 minutes.

Visit Chuggington on Disney Junior to view episodes, play games or print out fun activity sheets. While there take the safety pledge with your child to buckle up, wear your bike helmet, and always cross the street with an adult.
