Cooking with Coke – T-fal Steamer Giveaway

T-fal-steamer

I have always heard about people cooking with Coca-Cola, but have never tried it myself. I know it is supposed to tenderize meat {yum!} and also makes fabulous barbecue sauces. But what other recipes can Coke be used in? Well, you are about to discover something pretty spectacular, whether you are an experienced foodie or a beginner chef.

The kitchen is the place in the home where some of our best memories are made. When families spend time cooking together and enjoying meals together, they create memories that summon all five senses. For as long as most of us can remember, Coca-Cola has been a part of the experience. From birthday dinners to summer BBQ’s, millions of families have enjoyed a Coke with their meals and celebrations (or even mixed into the ingredients themselves!).

So let’s get down to business. I have been perusing the Cooking with Coke website and have found some delicious looking recipes. We always have Coke on hand here at my house, so incorporating it in recipes {while trying new recipes} has me a little bit giddy. Coke can be used in so many dishes, not just as a tenderizer and in BBQ sauces. Oh no, there is so much more.

Recognizing the brand has become a special part of people’s lives, Coca-Cola has launched Cooking with Coke – a site dedicated to Coke-loving moms and families. The new site provides a place to share recipes, family stories and mealtime traditions. Visitors to the site can build a personalized recipe book from any they like and share tips on how to get the whole family together.

My family is going to be super happy that I discovered the Cooking with Coke website – their tummies will be filled with scrumptious, homemade meals, using an ingredient that is a classic: Coca-Cola!

Make sure while you are on the Cooking with Coke website, that you share your recipes and enter the Chef Essentials Prize Pack. I also have something to give away to one of my readers, thanks to the nice folks at Coke!
